Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to Year 3, we have two classes which are 3G and 3Q. Our children have PE every Tuesday and Wednesday. Homework and reading records will be collected on Mondays, and homework is handed out on Thursdays.

This week the children in Year 3 learnt about different food groups and balanced diets. They designed their own food plates to show understanding on identifying the different food groups.

Year 3 have made an excellent start to the new school year!

Our first two days have been filled with smiles as the children settled into their new classroom, met their teacher and began learning about the exciting year ahead. Everyone has shown a positive attitude and has worked hard to follow our new routines.

We can't wait to see all that Year 3 will achieve this year.

This week in Geography we have been exploring North and South America. The children in Year 3 have been able to label a map with different colours, outlining the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
